Touch of the Tism
About the Series
Touch of the Tism is a recurring Ducking Realitea series that explores the messy, hilarious, deeply human reality of living, working, and loving with neurodivergent brains. Hosted by friends Siobhan, Holly, and Danielle, this series sits at the intersection of empathy, dark humor, lived experience, and real talk no performative wellness, no polished answers, no pretending we’ve got it all figured out.
What started as candid conversations between friends has evolved into something bigger: a space where ADHD, autism, sensory overload, burnout, misdiagnosis, and late-in-life realizations can be talked about honestly, without shame and without needing to wrap it all up in a bow.
Episodes blend storytelling, laughter, frustration, grief, relief, and recognition. Some are heavy. Some are absurd. Most are both. The throughline is always connection: learning how to show up for ourselves and each other in a world that wasn’t designed with neurodivergent nervous systems in mind.
Touch of the Tism isn’t here to diagnose, fix, or preach. It’s here to normalize, validate, and remind you that you’re not broken, you’re just wired differently.
Siobhan Kelly
Siobhan is the creator and host of Ducking Realitea, a podcast rooted in honest conversation, resilience, and the stories that shape us. Known for her warmth, wit, and ability to hold both humor and heaviness at the same time, she brings a deeply human lens to every conversation—especially the uncomfortable ones.
With a background in hospitality, storytelling, and community-building, Siobhan has spent years creating spaces where people feel seen, safe, and invited to be real. Her curiosity around neurodivergence comes from lived experience, long-term friendships, chronic health challenges, and a lifelong fascination with how minds, bodies, and nervous systems adapt to survive.
On Touch of the Tism, Siobhan acts as both anchor and mirror—asking thoughtful questions, pulling threads, and creating room for laughter, pauses, and truths that don’t always land neatly.
Holly
Holly brings sharp insight, dry humor, and grounded perspective to Touch of the Tism. She’s thoughtful without being precious, direct without being harsh, and deeply observant about how systems, expectations, and social norms impact neurodivergent people—especially in work and relationship spaces.
Her reflections often cut straight to the core of what many people are thinking but rarely say out loud. Whether unpacking masking, emotional labor, or the exhaustion of trying to meet neurotypical standards, Holly has a way of naming experiences that instantly make listeners feel less alone.
She’s the steady presence in the trio—offering clarity, nuance, and moments of quiet truth that linger long after the episode ends.
Danielle
Danielle brings vulnerability, humor, and lived honesty to Touch of the Tism. She’s unafraid to talk about the hard parts: late diagnoses, self-doubt, grief for past versions of herself, and the complicated relief that comes with finally having language for experiences that once felt isolating or confusing.
Her storytelling is candid and deeply relatable, often weaving humor through moments of frustration, burnout, and growth. Danielle has a gift for articulating the emotional side of neurodivergence—the internal negotiations, the sensory overwhelm, the constant recalibration required just to move through the world.
On the mic, she creates instant connection, reminding listeners that struggle doesn’t negate strength—and that understanding yourself is a radical, ongoing act.
